Fingerprint

Yesterday, during our church service they mentioned about being the aroma of life. It grabbed my attention and I wrote that phrase down.

Then I saw this quote today and my wheels started turning – taking some time to dig deeper into different thoughts that might surround the importance (and connection) between the two.

When we hear the word aroma – I think it’s safe to say we think of a smell.

Let’s broaden this perspective a bit.

  • Walking in Love – what kind of taste do we leave in someone’s mouth? (figuratively speaking)
  • What type of fingerprint are we leaving on the lives we touch or even in regards to the passerby (not just those we know and hang out with)?
  • How can we maybe raise the bar for ourselves on how we’re impacting lives through a loving legacy?

Whether we look at it through religious eyes or just humanity in general – I believe in the greater good that lies within us and in which can be shared with others in many different ways! Maybe we can all give this some extra thought and think outside the box on ways to touch lives that can make a difference. It doesn’t even have to be big ways (although, it could mean the world to someone else).

One that stuck out that was mentioned yesterday was even remembering to check on our neighbors. We live close to people that might be in need of something simple and yet can easily get overlooked because they aren’t within our close-knit circle of relationships.

IMPORTANT: With this and not just thinking about new possibilities – please do not forget to honor what you already do and smile at the goodness that lies within you and how you share love (you are love & light – and so loved)! 🙂 xoxo
