Stillness Amongst Crazy Times
There is so much going on in 2020. Unknown / uncertainty is what I think continues to come to mind for many.
My simple prayer is that each heart is wrapped in comfort for how God sees where we are and what we need.
A while back, when taking time to sit and feel into what is happening around us and the ugly phrase: COVID…I thought: is there possibly a way to try and put a different spin on it because it’s so draining.
- C – Capable
- O – of
- V – Victory
- I – in spite of
- D – Darkness
Because
- C – Compassion
- O – Outweighs
- V – Virus
- I – Infected
- D – Days
My heart yearns for COMPASSION – for each other and for the world in general.
In this picture, I see stillness. You can see the frost and fog out in the field. But as the rising sun appears, the fog will lift and the frost will melt. May love and compassion wrap us tight so that we may rise above the bitter, foggy desolation many of us are facing (while helping others as well)!
