Staying Connected
If I were to take a survey, I’m going to guess that the feeling of loneliness is pretty high up there for a lot of people through these life changes.
Being with those we love like we used to has changed but our ability to stay connected is still available. We’re just gonna have to tweak the meaning of being present. Take moments (make moments) to reach out to share a smile: send a text, write a letter, make a phone call…
You know your friends & family – how can you add a little extra love into their day(s)?!!?
The saying below: We can become so affected we become ineffective. That was posted by lisawhittle on Instagram. I read it and I thought: WOW! It’s so deep and so true. Unfortunately, so much is affecting us that we are possibly becoming ineffective – in many different ways. BUT the great news is, we can choose to be effective in good ways! Follow that nudge for who is coming to mind. Reach out. AND not only to share a laugh, say hi, thank you, I love you, but maybe there is a different friend that you know who wants to help in some way. Don’t be afraid to ask – they’ll get it and be thankful you did!
Sending love and hugs!! And, remember: you’re doing better than what you give yourself credit for. We are our own worst critic (and then sometimes we let it snowball). xoxo
