Kindness & Strength
“A Single Act of Kindness Throws out Roots in All Directions, and the Roots Spring up and Make New Trees.” – Amelia Earhart
Food for thought: Besides kindness with ones we know – what about stepping out to compliment a stranger? Yeah…Might seem awkward. But lets turn the table a bit and ask: What if you were that stranger receiving said compliment. Heart-warming…right! 🙂 You never know if the timing of something nice you’re thinking could be what another individual could use to brighten their day.
Also, Kindness is not only contagious – I read it’s good for your health too. Below is an interesting Science-Backed article on being kind (Google search).
And this Oak Tree write up is good and one I like to revisit from time to time (came to mind with the above quote) – (Google search: The Oak Tree poem).
As well as this amazing book for kids. Although, very well written in general and I can say it touched my heart in a special way when reading it (available through Amazon: The Oak Inside the Acorn by Max Lucado).
